Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Currently seeking Massachusetts-Licensed Attorneys to review pre-drafted demand letters (each letter takes approximately 10 minutes).
I work for a company that helps people looking to send simple demand letters with attorneys in their area. Our customers are most typically people who have an unpaid invoice, want a security deposit returned, or have some other discrete claim they've been avoiding taking action on. That might be because they are worried the amount of the claim won't justify the cost of retaining a lawyer or because they don't know where to start their search.
What is the Process?
1. We find the client, complete the intake, and write a draft letter (it will be prepared by me, or another lawyer or paralegal).
2. We send a completed letter for you to put on your letterhead, sign, and of course make any edits that you deem appropriate.
3. We will send your draft to the client so they can approve it or make minor edits (you won't have any direct client interaction).
4. You'll mail the letter. If you receive a reply, you'll forward it to us and we'll send it to the client.
What are the benefits for me?
We will pay you $50 dollars for each letter. Letters are typically less than one-page long, and shouldn't require more than 15 minutes of your time, as we handle both client interaction, and draft the letter for you. We will be able to send you letters in volume once we establish a relationship. If you don't want to work on a specific letter or don't think it's worth the time, just let us know as soon as possible.
Working with us will help you pad out your practice to earn extra money through predictable, straight-forward work. It's also a great way to find new clients.
What do I need to do?
In order to partner with us, we need you to confirm that you have an active license in your state, and commit to turning around letters within 24-48 hours. As previously described, they shouldn't take more than 15 minutes of your time.
If this is interesting to you, just let us know! We currently have a Massachusetts client in need of assistance.
Thank you and please let me know if you'd like any more information,
