Legal advice needed on Domain Name dispute.

I registered a domain name two doain names in about a year ago. the domain names were in the name of a fairly successfull entrepreneur.
I bought these domain names to set up a "fan site" but due to unforseen circumstances I left the project on the back burner & offered to sell them to the entrepreneur.
He got his in house lawyyer sent me a cease & desist and i got a solicitor to correspond back and offered to sell them the domain names and said if they did they not want to buy them it was ok as would proceed and create the fan pages. They said they didnt want to apay for them and my solicitor at the time reserved the right to show the contents of that email in any future litigation.
I have rentley completed the websites and tried again through a differant solicitor to sell them to the same entrepreneur and they are threatening to take me to the high court. So I need some advice on what would be the best way to go forward.
