English-Speaking Russian Immigration Lawyer (Moscow-Based)

We are seeking an experienced immigration lawyer based in Moscow to assist a Russian citizen in preparing and submitting a private visa invitation for a citizen of Iraq. The purpose of the invitation is for a temporary private visit to Russia. The lawyer will ensure all documentation and procedures are completed in full compliance with Russian immigration law and Ministry of Internal Affairs (GUVM MVD) regulations, to avoid any delays or rejections in the visa application process.

Key Responsibilities:

Advise the Russian citizen on the correct process and required documents for inviting a foreign national (Iraqi citizen) for a private visit.

Prepare and submit the invitation application to the appropriate GUVM MVD office in Moscow.

Ensure the accuracy of all forms and supporting documents.

Liaise with the Russian authorities if needed to track or expedite the process.

Provide guidance on delivering the official invitation to the invitee.

Advise on possible consular requirements for the Iraqi citizen once the invitation is issued.

Requirements:

Licensed immigration lawyer based in Moscow with experience in private visa invitations.

Fluent in Russian and English (written and spoken).

Strong knowledge of Russian migration law and administrative procedures.

Ability to communicate professionally with clients and government offices.

Familiarity with cases involving citizens from "migration-sensitive" countries (e.g., Iraq) is a plus.
