Independent doctor business
Already registered with CQC and worked with an advisor to get to this stage, currently looking at options to switch to a different advisor for a better service.
- To liaise and work with the business.
- To provide advice, guidance and support in the administration, documentation, policies, procedures and infrastructure to maintain the business private doctor registration with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) complying with the current Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014.
- To advise and support the business in relation to the fundamental standards and regulations of the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014 in proportion to the independent healthcare service being provided.
- To develop, review and maintain written policies and procedures relating to the patient healthcare service provided by the business
- To provide comprehensive advice on health and safety and risk assessment in relation to the risks associated with providing an independent healthcare service at the clinic premises
Support to include:
- mock inspections/assessment visits (virtual or on site) to the business and provision of an assessment report
- assisting with the monitoring of the quality of the provided patient service in relation to policy review and updating, record keeping, staff recruitment, risk assessments, safeguarding, infection control, received complaints, accidents and incidents, patient satisfaction and patient outcomes
- reviewing and amending relevant supporting documents in relation to maintaining CQC registration
- e-mail, video call and telephone support in relation to issues of maintaining and complying with CQC registration.
