Hi - I'm am currently in the process of standing up a small ecommerce business selling spectacles in the UK. I am seeking support in 3 administrative tasks please:
1) Company set-up and registration: Someone to undertake the administrative task of setting up a trading entity in the UK, including an appreciation of the options, optimal structure and requirements (i.e. based on my circumstances, am I best served with a 'limited' company? Or something else? What does this mean in terms of requirements and drawbacks? etc.)
2) Insurance procurement: understand what sort of insurance i need to support my business (i.e. selling spectacles) and what the best suppliers are. Once we chose an option, please can you apply and set this up
3) Product registration: Spectacles count as a 'class 1' (low risk) medical device, but still needs to be registered with the government. This involves an understanding of the regulations that apply (I'm not sure if there are many for glasses) and identifying any certification that I would need to source from my supplier
I hope this makes sense. I believe this to be an relatively administrative task, rather than requiring any insurance or specific legal expertise. I just don't have the capacity at the moment and need to get it going. Happy to help on all fronts will links and info. I am looking for someone proactive with good attention to detail and understanding of the UK business landscape to help me with these tasks.
