Xero accounting for a small uk software business

Description of support work: The task will be to use Xero to:-

1. Collate and input transactions into Xero related to a UK software business; ad setup any recurring transactions and accruals that can reasonably be automated
2. Advise and ensure accounting entries are allocated to the correct chart of account codes, including a review of prior transactions
3. Check and reconcile/adjust so the VAT history and setup to permit automatic submission is correct
Extra notes: Applicants must be UK based and UK qualified accountants or certified book-keepers with at least 5 years experience and in-depth experience of Xero

This is the initial project to bring accounts up-to-date. After this, if all goes well, we will require an ongoing weekly / monthly update project which will probably be awarded to the person who demonstrates they did a great job on this first task.

We will try to provide data for input in a number of excel spreadsheets but may also include some transactions which will be forwarded copies of emails from suppliers - most of the accounting is recurring transactions but there are some shareholder loan transactions to be setup for the 2 shareholders.
