Description
Experience Level: Entry
I urgently require a UK accountant to prepare and sign a certificate requested by PayPal for my UK-registered company, Zanzibar Quest Limited.
PayPal's exact requirement is:
“Provide a certificate signed by a UK accountant or lawyer that verifies the company's source of income/wealth.”
IMPORTANT: PayPal is not requesting an audit or certification of the company's statutory accounts. PayPal has not provided a prescribed certificate template or requested an audit opinion.
The company's principal source of income is its travel and tourism trading activities.
I can provide supporting documentation including:
* Company accounts
* PayPal transaction history
* Business bank statements
* Customer invoices and booking confirmations
* Supporting travel/booking records
* Evidence relating to any material director funding or other sources of funds, if required
The accountant would need to review sufficient supporting evidence to satisfy themselves as to the company's principal source of income and then prepare and sign an appropriate certificate addressed to PayPal.
Deadline: I need the completed certificate no later than 19 August 2026, as PayPal's submission deadline is 20 August 2026.
This is a small, urgent, one-off assignment rather than an audit engagement.
Budget: Approximately £30. I appreciate this is a limited budget, so please only submit a proposal if you are able to undertake the work within or close to this amount.
Please include in your proposal:
* Your UK accounting qualification/professional body;
* Confirmation that you are able to sign the certificate;
* Your total fee; and
* Confirmation that you can deliver by 19 August 2026.
The PayPal screenshot showing the exact requirement can be provided immediately.
