Description
Experience Level: Expert
We have an education video platform where we partner with content creators (CCs) and share the net profit.
We require a spreadsheet to calculate ongoing monthly payouts from turnover and costs using varying payout profiles.
Key features:
- Create payout profiles to allocate to CCs. Each CC must have a profile - currently these are 50% share, 25% share, 25% share with capped % of costs. Must be able to easily add more.
- Manage an initial 50 creators and to easily add more with name and allocated profile.
- Calculate payouts from key inputs - turnover, costs, number of seconds viewed per CC and the % of the total seconds of viewed per CC.
- Review and management of monthly payouts
Example Month
- Turnover £20000
- Costs £10000
- Total Net Profit to share with CCs £10000
- Total Seconds Viewed - 48000
- Profile 1 - 50% of net profit
- Profile 2 - 25% of net profit
- Profile 3 - 25% of net profit with costs capped at 10% of turnover (£2000)
Month 1
CC1 - profile 1 - 12000 seconds
CC2 - profile 2 - 6000 seconds
CC3 - profile 1 - 20000 seconds
CC4 - profile 3 - 10000 seconds
We expect to input the turnover, costs and the number of seconds per CC.
The spreadsheet should then calculate the net profit and the number of seconds per CC as a percentage.
Then to allocate these numbers to the CCs and their payout profile to share out the net profit.
We’d like this available as an online tool if possible.
If you have any questions please ask.
