Setup Xero system

I am a small company with no employees
I use PipeDrive to manage my clients, and it is integrated with Xero
I receive money from my clients by e-transfer and Stripe
I provide Canadian-related Immigration services

What reports do I need to produce
1. Statement of account, which includes the amounts received and the remaining balance.
2. Receipts
3. The monthly report shows income, expenses by type, and gross profit; general account balance, and trust account balance.
4. Statement Summary for Clients

I maintain two bank accounts.
a. The general account is for the services that are rendered, to pay third parties, to pay company expenses, and my expenses
b. The trust account is to hold money that I received from the client, but the services have not been started or completed, as well as third-party money that is not invoiced or to be paid in the future.

Based on 2024 information, I provided services to 80 clients. The majority of my clients sent money for the services rendered, which is why the funds were deposited into the General account. In a few rare cases, some clients sent money to services that have not yet been rendered, and I transferred the funds from the general account into the trust account. Some of these funds stay in the trust account for many months. A few cases where I refunded money to clients.

The implementation will commence for the company on 1 January 2025 and continue to this date. After setup, we need to test the system and ensure it generates all the reports for one month to confirm it is working as planned.
