Good morning,
I am looking for some help with a PAYE problem I'm having. I paid someone to do my payroll and I thought that was all done and dusted, but I have just logged in to HMRC to make payment of the overdue amount and it is a lot higher than expected (e.g. total monthly salary was 660 and PAYE is showing as 574.41 for the month).
I tried to look into it more and it says - We've estimated your charges because you didn't report payroll information on time. You can find out more about how we estimate what you owe.
This stuff is way beyond me so I am looking for someone who can help clarify this and take whatever action is required to correct this.
