Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Temporary Accountant required for busy advertising agency in Soho, Central London (approx two months). The role will include statutory and some management accounts work as well as bookkeeping, Vat returns, corporation tax returns, credit control, managing the payroll and other ad hoc work such as assisting with budgets, cashflows, expenses and forecasts. Will include inputing and management of Quickbooks accounting package
A key and additional part of the role is managing our job bag system that currently runs on Quickbooks.
The position reports to the Finance Director.
The job is full-time and is based on five days a week (although there is some flexibility in days/hours worked).
Personality and aptitude are important. We are a creative business and the person undertaking the role must be used to working in a fast moving and at times chaotic environment.
The ideal will possess the following attributes/skills:
* Part Qualified CIMA/ACCA
* Knowledge of financial systems especially quickbooks and excel
* Previous experience with forecasting, reconciling, and preparing budgets
Someone who gets on well with people, can operate is slightly chaotic creative entrepreneurial environment. That has good attention to detail, that is willing to challenge and question. Manages to get their job done despite the fact that to nearly everyone else in the company day to day finance is not top of their agenda.
