I will shortly be moving to the US from the UK for a new job, and need some assistance and advice regarding my finances. I have a Limited company here in the UK, but will not be operating as that company after the move, as I'll be in permanent employment by another company — but I might still need to use some of the funds in the business bank account, and I do not plan to close down my UK company.

I'm looking for someone who understands taxation in both countries and can help me sort out my finances before and throughout the move. I have an accountant and they should be able to implement your advice, but they do not deal with US moves and related tax legislation, which is why I'm looking for a specialist here.
