I need some tax planning advice with regards to BTL investments

I'd like some advice on how I can best structure my BTL investments to be as tax efficient as possible. My wife and I are effectively trading as sole traders, and Im trying to understand if I should incorporate or not, and If I did - I'd have to do so by 31st March.

I'd like to have advice and mechanisms ready to do after the budget on 16th March if I was to incorporate. e.g buy an off the shelf company and transfer the properties to it by way of a beneficial interest company trust deed.

I have questions about how long this process can take, whether I'd have to pay CGT and SDLT and how much that would be? whether i'd have to pay enhanced SDLT on the private residence Im buying should completion slip to after 31st March etc? Do I need to involve solicitors?
