Estimated project duration: less than 1 week
Our Bookkeeper has taken a sudden sabbatical, so we need someone who's good at basic bookkeeping and admin who can step into the breach and sort things out, pretty much immediately! We use Xero/Receipt Bank, plus usual paper trail filing. As a lot of this is actual paper bookkeeping and filing so we need some one who can do this at our offices in Ashford, Kent. We do NOT want any remote workers, so need to be reasonably local! We estimate that there is initially probably 3 days office based work and then remote options.

    Brian,

    If working remotely with someone is not for you, then can I suggest you change your job posting from 'remote' as it currently shows?

    This will save people from wasting their time.

    Ergh thank you Chris, unfortunately the location qualification is somewhat buried away in the 'advanced' section so not immediately apparent, although we did state very, very clearly in the description that this was not a remote job. Thank you anyway.

    I see your point, but a fair number of freelancers search on a criteria of 'remote', which your job would have showed up in; when in fact it is an onsite job.
