Financial Plan for New Contractor

I am a newly self-employed software development contractor in London. I have set up a limited company and started trading, but I don't know the most efficient way to manage my business finances (how best to pay myself, how to manage expenses or asset depreciation, etc). I would like to try to keep on top of these things myself via Xero (at least to start with), but I need a nudge to get me pointing in the right direction.

For this project, I'm looking for someone to give me about an hour of advice, or possibly to set xero up in the first place. I need someone who can proactively tell me about things I haven't thought about! Beyond that, I'll need to have access to you for ongoing support when I come across any new situations.
