We are a relatively new business selling insurance and insurance 'type' products.... Frankly our accounting records are in the dark ages (hand written purchase day books, online sales day books) and we need to design and implement a new accountancy system...... We would like whoever designs the system to go on and take responsibility for getting the data onto the system and then develop a reporting package so that we know how the business is performing ....We have three companies in the group and need to run 'client accounts' where client funds are held.....turnover is currently about £1m p.a. but expected to triple in the next 2 years....Essentially we want a part time company accountant who will take responsibility for managing running and developing the financial aspects of the business, at the year end we would like to present a set of accounts for our accountants to audit rather than waiting for them to write up the accounts .......... We are very ambitious and considerable possibility exists for career development for the right person.
