I need another bookkeeper to help support our clients. You will be responsible for the entering (and accuracy) of data and ensuring statutory filings are made on time. The role will involve a mixture of working on client site, in the office and remotely.
Core Bookkeeping Responsibilities
Raising sales invoices & posting supplier invoices and expenses into accounting systems
Posting bank receipts and payments
Handling all petty cash requests
Management of the Expenses process
Ensure bank reconciliations are completed regularly
Dealing with supplier queries
Extra notes: Skills/Experience/Attributes
Experienced bookkeeper or qualified accountant with bookkeeping experience
Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
Excellent attention to detail
Team player with hands on approach
High attention to detail and an orderly approach to processing
Good experience with using Excel for management reports
An ability to work to tight deadlines under pressure
Excellent computer skills (especially with financial software)
Honest, discreet and trustworthy
1-2 day a week on-site initially and approx 1 day a week remote working required but this will increase.
Bookkeeping/accounting qualifications are necessary
Memberships of professional bodies an advantage
