Auditing School Accounts - Charity

I am a treasurer for a school whose accounts need to be audited and signed and returned to the charity commission. I have a trial balance and a list of all transactions together with back up receipts. These need to be audited and a short report needs to be written which I need to send to the charity commission. I need this to be done asap as the accounts should have been filed in June 2008 - the accounts relate to our financial year sept 2006 to august 2007.
