Description
Experience Level: Expert
Hi There,
I am currently applying for a UK Partnership Visa Extention and one of the requirements for Proof of Income is "A Certificate of Confirmation from an accountant".
Below is the information I have found on the document:
An accountants certificate of confirmation in 2020 is a letter from an accountant saying that they handled the persons business or businesses accounts and that the supplied information is correct.
Only an accountant who is a member of one of the following can provide you with this document:
* a UK Recognised Supervisory Body (as defined in the Companies Act 2006); or
* the Institute of Financial Accountants
NB: Please do not apply if you cannot supply me with proof of the above.
I have all my tax returns in order, all my receipts, payments and invoices are also in order (well organised and labelled). What I need is for an accountant to look over this, check my calculations and write a letter confirming that information is true. (ie. I am not lying about my income).
I have attached a 'sample' letter below, which was written by another applicants accountant, to get a better idea of the certificate format.
Please let me know if you have had any experience with this before, and ensure that you can supply "Membership of UK Recognised Supervisory Body or the Institute of Financial Accountants."
Thanks.
