Accounting advice needed

I am looking for a very good accountant who speaks plain English to help me with my end of year accounts. I am currently self employed and a big tax bill has caught me at a bad time. I want to make sure I am utilising all of my allowances and not paying any more than I have to. All of my invoices and expenses are contained in an Excel spreadsheet, 1 page sorted by month. I need someone to look over it, answer a few questions and save me as much money as humanly possible. For the right person this might entail 10 minutes looking at my books and a couple of phone calls. Being local to Bristol would be an advantage but not essential and there is potential for plenty of follow on work as I have a number of businesses in the pipeline. I am looking for someone sharp who knows all of the tricks, if this is you, I want to hear from you.
