Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
General information for the business: We are a firm of accountants for small businesses, freelancers, sole traders, limited company owners.
Extra notes: We are a firm of accountants for small businesses, freelancers, sole traders, limited company owners and individuals requiring tax advice and accountancy services.
We are looking for a bright, dynamic and enthusiastic accountant to be our voice on business forums. You will be required to engage in discussions using your accountancy knowledge and posting links to resources on our website where necessary.
You might be thinking why do a firm of accountants need to search for accountants on People Per Hour? In a nutshell, all of our accountants are tied up with servicing the needs of our clients and simply don’t have the time to spend posting on forums.
This is a marketing activity, so you don’t have to be hugely technical or have the longest CV. As long as you can hold your own and provide helpful accountancy advice you should be what we are looking for.
We will provide you with a list of forums and log in details.
Here are some example threads to give you an idea of the discussions you will be involved in.
• http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/forumdisplay.php?s=3586895590affa8b26553308b953a938&f=22
• http://www.ukbusinessforums.co.uk/threads/help-with-capiyal-allowances.324622/#post-2408100
We ‘think’ we will require 5 - 10 hours per month (roughly 100 posts per month), however, as this is the first time we’ve done this it might be a little dynamic to start with however we’re sure it will very soon settle into a more standard patter. We will also need a short report each week with the urls of the threads that you have posted on.
Full support and advice on how best to post and reply will be given as some forums can be more boisterous that others.
