Windows Homegroup issue needs solving.

Description of support work: Moved a desktop, a laptop and a networked printer from A to B. Running Windows 10 on both computers. Laptop can not connect to the Homegroup, or even see the desktop / printer on the network. Tried rebooting router and the ubiquiti access point. Probably something so simple....
Files are stored on the desktop and storage attached to the network via it, so the laptop is kind of stranded right now and version control is out of the window with having to email things back and forth.
The desktop is hardwired to the router via a switch. The laptop is reliant on the ubiquiti wifi access. The laptop can access the internet via the AP.
I need you to set up a 100% stable reliable network for these devices, dependable 24x7. I propose to work with you on this using the latest version of Teamviewer so that you can access both computers.
