UK Doctor (GP) – PGD Clinical Reviewer / Co-Author (5 PGDs)

We are developing a UK-based clinical software platform used by private pharmacies and clinics. We are seeking a GMC-registered UK doctor (GP preferred) to clinically review and co-author approximately five Patient Group Directions (PGDs).

The PGDs relate to common private pharmacy services including:

Weight management

Erectile dysfunction

Hair loss

Uncomplicated UTI treatment

Malaria prophylaxis

A UK GPhC-registered pharmacist will prepare the draft PGDs. Your role will be to review the clinical content, ensure compliance with current NICE and MHRA guidance, provide oversight on safety criteria, and act as clinical co-author and signatory in accordance with UK PGD requirements.

Responsibilities:

Review approximately 5 PGDs

Ensure alignment with NICE and MHRA guidance

Provide clinical input on inclusion/exclusion criteria and safety protocols

Suggest amendments where required

Act as clinical co-author and signatory

Requirements:

UK GMC registered doctor

Experience in primary care / prescribing

Familiarity with PGDs or clinical protocols preferred

Knowledge of UK prescribing standards
