Description
Experience Level: Expert
Estimated project duration: 1 day or less
I have multiple email and DropBox (4) accounts (also inter-shared to view on one PC) for personal and business use (two businesses). I have also purchased a Synology NAS drive and downloaded software. As well as personal files & folders I have a Ltd Company laundry business and am a sole trader accountant.
I would like someone to help migrate the files from DropBox to the NAS drive and to setup/tutor a process for inviting accounting clients to access their areas of the NAS Drive with minimum disruption for them (both in the transfer and for ongoing support). There will also be up to two PCs at the business address accessed by employees within my laundry business which could be used as "client" guinea pigs, I work from home. I'm happy to take suggestions on the best route to achieve this such as, for example and may not even be possible, adding all four DropBox accounts (separately rather than inter-shared as I have now) to the NAS drive initially?
The trigger now is that it appears that two of my own DropBox accounts have become un-shared so I may have conflicted copies of any files recently edited.
I assume you'll use a remote access tool to access my DropBox folders and NAS drive in my presence. I'm currently using my laptop as my PC is being repaired! I can be pretty flexible on times and days.
I hope I've been clear and thorough, but if you have any questions then please do let me know.
