Startup Fundraising & Growth Consultant Required

We have recently launched TheSkillsRegister.com, a free-to-use online platform designed to connect people who possess skills (both professional or talented amateur) with individuals or organisations seeking those skills.

Unlike traditional freelance marketplaces, our platform:
• Covers ALL skill categories
• Is entirely free for users
• Does not charge commissions or transaction fees
• Intends to monetise through advertising, promotions, and partnerships once audience scale is achieved

We are initially focusing promotion within the Humber region in order to build traction in a manageable geographic area before broader expansion, both national and potentially international.

We are seeking an experienced consultant/advisor to assist with:
• Investor readiness
• Funding strategy
• Pitch deck development
• Identifying suitable angel investors or crowdfunding opportunities
• Potential introductions to relevant funding networks
• Advice on scaling marketplace/platform adoption

The ideal candidate will have:
• Experience with startup fundraising
• Marketplace/platform business experience
• Knowledge of UK angel investment and crowdfunding ecosystems
• Strong strategic communication skills
