Sort issues with microsoft office - IMAP / folder synchronisation with new web host

I have connected my email via IMAP from a new website host for www.picturemyworld.co.uk
Whilst I do get my mail this is intermittent and I keep getting the error "to synchronising subscribed folders xxxx reported error 0x800CCC0E". Also when trying to "repair" the account it says that I cannot accept encryption from the host and it needs to be a POP3 account (so I dont know if that is a separate issue). The hosting company are at a loss and I think it is something to do with the setup on my Microsoft account.

Since I moved over to the new hosting company those folders have disappeared so I seem to be missing many emails. I think its trying to synchronise old with new / this is potentially the issue (or one of the issues).

It might be better to archive all the emails I have then completely re-install Microsoft Outlook then adding the new IMAP accounts, then uploading the .pst files. I have 4 email addresses with the website host.
I also have an issue with old .pst folders through Hotmail and I cannot open older emails - the message wont download.
I just want to be able to access as many old emails as possible and have it set up correctly.
I will provide remote access for anyone who can fix.
