    DNI Data & Electrical Installations Ltd is a Bedfordshire based structured cabling company providing national coverage and we are currently recruiting for a Data Engineer to join our team. We are a fast-growing company that delivers up-to-date solutions and services into commercial premises nationwide.

In this hands-on role, you’ll be provided with comprehensive training across various data cabling systems. You will also be supported to gain valuable qualifications and develop all of the practical skills you need to succeed whilst on the job.

    As a Data Cabling Engineer, you’ll be tasked with working alongside other engineers to install a variety of cutting-edge cabling & equipment at sites nationwide.

    The ideal candidate would ideally have some experience of Cat5e, Cat6, Cat7, Voice & Fibre Optic cabling - but this is not essential.

    Interested? To be considered, you must have:

    - ideally some experience of working in a trade
    - some experience of using hand and/or power tools
    - a full driving licence and access to your own vehicle
    - IPAF and/or PASMA trained would be beneficial as would be Asbestos Awareness too

    You must be reliable, hard-working, well-mannered and a strong communicator. You will need to be a team player and be able to prioritise effectively whilst maintaining great attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated individual with a proactive can-do attitude.

    Working hours are based on a Monday to Friday basis but weekend & out of hours working will be required regularly.

    Competitive rates of pay which will be in line with the successful candidates experience.

    You will need to be registered with CIS (Construction Industry Scheme) and a CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card may be required too.
