School Exams Generator

Description: School Exams Generator is intended to make the setting of exams easier. The software should allow teachers to enter 5 or more questions or as it may be specified by the administrator into system after everyday's lesson. The questions should include adjoining answers entered into another category. The idea is to make sure that marking scheme( solutions to the questions) will be generated by the system. The questions should be in the form of both theory and multiple chioce questions. A word processor should be embedded into the system to help teachers to draw and type questions in case of mathematical and science questions. It should also be made possible to import pictures and objects during entry. The system should have grammer check function.

The system should be web based to work on linux cpanel. It should have a portal for teachers and administrators. The teachers should be allowed to enter their questions and answers during a period specified by the administrator. As soon as the deadline is reached, the system should avoid any entry into the system. The administrator should be given the permission to enroll teachers who will be allowed to enter questions in a particular term. The number of subjects being handled in the school should be entered into the system and assigned to each teachers teaching the particular subject. Teachers after the entering period should not be allowed to see the questions again. During the entry stage, teachers should be allowed to make edits and corrections.

At the end of the term, the administrator goes into the system and generate questions randomly. The number of theory questions and multiple questions should be specified by the administrator. There should be a template builder to be included into the system where the questions generated will be exported to. Adjoining answers entered into the system must also be generated on a separated form to help teachers mark the questions.

The system should be content managemnent software where new information can be entered into it during new installation on new platform. It should be able to store questions and answers for future use.It should be secured to avoid leaking of exams questions. Enteries should be based on the academic calendar as it may specified by the administrator. Questions repetitions should be disallowed.

The reason for this project to make sure exams are stored electronically and can be retrieved at any time. Administrators can still test students even if the teachers handling the various subjects are not available.
