Research assistance of the highest order

I need an Internet assistant - a methodical, well read, engaging, conversationalist-type that excels at:

1. Conversation and discussion relevant to the convergence between technology, life, and philosophy.
2. Research on very specialised topics (eg. the economics of artificial intelligence, cultural biases in law, machine learning driven entertainment, technological spirituality, etc.)
3. Methodically documenting these projects (eg. citations, references, etc.)
4. Giving an honest opinion.

I'm not looking for good English skills, qualifications, or your past experiences, although expertise in a particular subject will obviously be regarded as a bonus. At the bare minimum, I'm looking for a person to bounce ideas off, but depending on the role you play and your effective contribution, I shall reciprocate though weekly payments.

I understand that this is a broad topic, so I am completely open to suggestions, in fact, I doubt I will actually hire anyone without first engaging in a (lengthy) conversation.
