Quantity Surveying, BQ Preparation and Take-offs

We need a freelance Quantity Surveyor experienced in take-offs an production of Bills of Quantities for residential construction projects. The task will be to take-off quantities from comprehensive architectural and engineers drawings for a new build house and produce bills following SMM7 rules of measurement for the building SHELL ONLY, including: Groundworks / Substructure / Frame / Internal Floors / External Walls / Roof.

The house is a large traditionally constructed new build detached dwelling and consists of a Basement, Ground Floor, Mezzanine and First Floor. There is considerable work involved in accurately taking off the quantities to produce accurate bills as required and we would anticipate this will take between 1.5-2 days work for an experienced estimator.
