Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Industry: Healthcare
Description of support work: The Job:
New healthcare division, working with GP practices to offer private services to their patients from within their practice
The Person:
The ideal candidate is a professional in the field of project management. The person is being hired to accomplish set objectives and will have the responsibility for the planning, execution and closing of project. Previous experience working with GP practices and the CQC is essential. The project manager is required to develop the project plan and manage communication amongst all parties
Candidate requirements
Must have excellent -
communications skills (verbal and written)
time management and
organisational skills
Must be able to -
portray a professional appearance to clients at all times
use (at the very least) MS Office to a high standard, writing reports, presentations and spreadsheets
Should be able to hit the ground running
Ideally, should have own project management solutions
Previous sales experience would be handy, as you would need to negotiation and finalise deals
The Role:
This is a mostly work from home role with some field work
This is a trial project and you would be working with about 5 GP practices that have shown interest in our service. The GP practices won't be paying us, rather we would be paying them. So you should be able to negotiate a good rate but most importantly ensure that none of the practices change their mind about working with us.
You will write up the Project Plan which would be shared with the GP practices then follow it up with a telephone call to arrange a face-to-face meeting. Hopefully, you should be able to conclude all things in that meeting so you wouldn't need to visit them in person again.
Once contracts have been signed and project has commenced, you will set up systems to ensure that the practices get the support needed to fulfill their end.
You will work with the CQC to sort out any compliance that is needed. As we are working with CQC approved practices, we anticipate that there should be minimal requirements from them.
The sooner this trial project is completed, the sooner we can review the possibility of making the job on-going i.e to roll-out the services to more practices (all subject to the performance of this trial)
