We are seeking an experienced planning consultant or town planner to assist with obtaining planning permission for various sites in our land development business. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in regulations, land use planning, and local authority processes. You will be responsible for preparing the necessary documentation, communicating with local authorities, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. If you have a proven track record of successfully navigating the planning permission process.
We mainly work with small development plots/single dwelling projects.
I’m looking to understand the following from you:
If you can support the full planning process for single-dwelling projects from initial assessments to submission.
I’m also looking for your fee structure, both as a end-to-end service as well fees you charge for initial appraisals
I’m particularly interested in:
- Initial Site feasibility/planning advice (not full appraisal)
- Appraisal
- Measured surveys (?) if needed
- Full drawings and design work including site plans, proposed plans, etc. (full set) / write briefs for drawings to get them drawn externally
- Managing and submitting planning applications
- Post submission management of application & negotiation with council
- & any extras required ? i.e fire safety strategy, CIL, waste access plans, and any necessary third-party reports (e.g. drainage, tree surveys).
