Need lists of football/soccer players and their appearances/goals for specific clubs

Outline & Structure: I need a list of notable/interesting former players for football/soccer teams plus the number of goals and appearances for that club. I have done a list of Arsenal goalscorers already and have attached it.

The list needs to be made up of 'interesting' former players, so players that most football fans will have heard of. So all club legends need to be included for all positions, even Keepers. Also, the players will always be those that played for the club during their best years. So if for example working on a team like Sheffield Wednesday, then the list should contain players who played during their time in the Premier League, not the lower leagues after they were relegated. Obviously interestingness is difficult to quantify, but just do as well as you can and we can take it from there.

In terms of appearances and goals, this should include league, cup, europe etc but not friendlies. Usually the numbers in the summary box in the top right of a Wikipedia profile are sufficient.

I presume most of the data will come from sources such as Wikipedia. I have attached a sample of one of the teams done already. However the Arsenal file only includes Goals, whereas the requirement is for appearances and goals.

The players:
- Must be retired or nearly retired players
- Must not be currently playing for the club
- Mostly made up of players that played for the club very recently, like between around 1992 to 2014.
- Defo include the all-time top 10 scorers for the club (not those before 1970)
- Defo include most of the people with the most appearances for the club (not those before 1970)
- Include all club legends i.e. Everton - include Rooney, Southall, Gascoigne, Lineker, Ferguson even if they are not in the top scorers or top appearances for all-time
- Add a note to which web pages were used to extract the data for each club

The output:
- Each team needs to be in its own separate txt or csv file, like the arsenal file provided
- All players are on a new line with the appearances and goals alongside e.g. Rooney, 67, 15
