Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
General information for the business: We're a digital marketing agency.
Description of support work: This guide is specifically aimed at business owners and managers. It’s not a guide for someone wanting to become an SEO professional but rather a guide that gives people these business owners and managers the information they need to make become informed about SEO and how it benefits them. In terms of general structure we’re looking at this:
Organic Search
- disambiguation (explaining it in context of other terms e.g. How it gets swallowed up)
- definition (history/abuse of term)
- common misconceptions
- controversy (direct or side effect)
- is it right for me (my business, what types of businesses it isn't relevant for - no search volume)
- in house (benefits/drawbacks)
- out sourced (benefits/drawbacks)
- what to ask to get the most from your agency (reports / penalties)
- free tools (small / medium / large) with our rating
- explaining free and enterprise level tool differences and what's suited for in-house use
- what you need in an house search person
- summary
We’re looking for someone fluent in SEO who can find the best examples of each of these sections -not just the first guide out there but rather analyse a range of what’s currently out there then select the best one around as our benchmark, the idea being that we then improve it and do a better job of what’s currently available then write and market the guide directly for the benefit of business owners.
If you feel you have the relevant experience, technical knowledge and the enthusiasm to help us make a guide that sets the bar for quality in this industry then please get back to me with your credentials and experience.
Native English speakers preferred.
