Hi all,
I have an interview on Monday and I'm going to be given a scenario (on the day of interview ) setting out something like: We want to implement two new kiosks into the theme park - you've got 45 minutes to show us how you would go about setting up that as a project and delivering, i.e. show all the steps, where would I get money from, setting up budgets, plans, reporting, risk, resources, comms, etc etc.
So I will not have the actual scenario until the day of interview.
Obviously they're not expecting me to do a week's work in 45 minutes and present a full project plan, but they want to see that I know what to do.
So I need a form of presentation or a way of a creative way of showing I know the steps to kick off a project to closing a project.
The topic or product of what is being delivered or produced is not known until interview.
I can use a laptop but should also use the white board (tip from the recruiter). While I want it to be creative, it can't be too 'jazzy' either, as the company is little old school. Something simple that shows steps but with some personality!
I would need it by tomorrow morning (Sunday) so I can get my head round it. I am actually working this weekend (on another gig) hence the request for help.
A little background on me. I'm an ex journalist and in year 2 of a career change. Of late, I've been managing digital projects, so website design and content. I've also been working in comms and programme management. Not necessarily in 'project management' hence the anxiety!

Hi - I see this has been awarded. If you need further assistance, I am both Recruiter (who designs such tests) and Project Management Trainer.

Hello Char, when will you be told what the scenario is? If you need to prepare for tomorrow morning, that suggests to me that you will be given the scenario in advance. If so, could you let us know what it is, in order to bid appropriately please? Thank you for your consideration. Regards, Amanda
