Description
Experience Level: Entry
I need someone with basic economics expertise to mark some first-year economics student assignments. I have a deadline to try and work to that is impossible for me to make, so I need some help asap! The students use English, but for most it is not their first language, so I have been generous in my marking so far.
The assignment asks students to find an article on the internet which uses an economics concept (eg. supply/demand, tariff/subsidy), describe the article, identify and describe the economics concept relevant to the article, and draw a graph to represent what is happening.
The marking criteria I've used is broadly:
2 marks for description that matches the article
4 marks for an accurate economic analysis of the economics concept they have identified
2 marks for a labelled graph that accurately shows what was discussed
2 marks for grammar and spelling
You can see an example of the assignments, and how I have marked so far in this google drive link https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1MY05T8jd5gMlZH560OnZo4TKpqwuQhL2?usp=sharing
I am looking to get 2 lots of 50 assignments marked and I don't require anything more than an overall mark. You could potentially a few words on what they did right or wrong if you think worthwhile (but that is not necessary for all of them).
I say two lots of 50 because I thought it might be faster to get two people to do 50 each (for $50 each), but am happy to give both to the same person if it can get done quickly. At this stage I have to prioritise speed and quantity, the assignments are not worth much overall. I have been averaging 10-15 assignments per hour.
