My name is Lucky Garba and I'm a civil engineer by profession and founder of GARBACO Construction based in the UK. We have been invited to tender as a subcontractor along side a main contractor for the Nairobi Garden City Business Park in Kenya, comprising of high rise off blocks.
GARBACO will be presenting the possibilities of using slip-form a method of construction for this project and will need to present in its full entirety what slip-form can achieve for this project. We have been told this morning that the client requires all submission of tenders within the next 5days. As we know this deadline is a massive stretch for us we must try and deliver nevertheless. We aim to produce more of a financial snap shot of what the project will cost the client whilst submitting a full tender shortly after.
GARBACO's current stance is that we have never tendered for a project of this magnitude although having the technical experience of executing a such a project. We would like you the consult and deliver the bare minimum for what will be required to client in order for consideration and winning the bid.
We would need you to identify what items are required i.e. programme, costing etc. not all of which will be expected by you solely to deliver, for the most part GARBACO will provide achieve cetain deliverables.
What we have to date are client drawings of the intended project and client scope of works , all which can be will be forwarded on to serious candidates.
GARBACO currently has no slip-form equipment but hopes to purchase the specific system required for this project from Bygging-Uddermann, a Swedish company who will also provide purchase cost, programme, methodology statement, and possibly shipping quotations all which must be considered in our bid.

Budget for this work will be dependant on skill set, experience and how fast work can be produced, budget will start from £250.
