Calculate the carbon footprint of a product

Contra Vision is a manufacturer of a product called perforated window film which is used for one-way vision graphics and advertising on windows. We would like to calculate the carbon footprint for the lifetime of the product, spanning the extraction of raw materials, product manufacturing, customer use and disposal etc. The product also helps to reduce some carbon emissions by keeping vehicles and rooms cooler and hence reduces air conditioning (this needs to be factored into the calculation)
