Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
I am looking for a trustworthy individual who would be happy to spend a couple of hours, here and there, calling customers who have outstanding invoices and taking card payments from them over the phone.
I will provide a spreadsheet with customer name, line 1 of address, postcode and amount outstanding including their telephone number.
I will also provide a web page with login and password, this will present you with a page where you can enter the customer payment details.
After a payment is taken you will be presented with an authorised our declined message, if the payment is declined then the customer should be asked for another method of payment and details will be provided for:
Cheque payments
Postal orders
Paypal
Alternative credit or debit card
If a payment is succesful a transaction code is presented, this should be pasted into the spreadsheet if the payment is succesfull. Then move on to the next call.
I am happy to provide a SKYPE account with unlimited calls to landlines, but some calls may be to mobile phones.
You will not be expected to take any inbound calls, the role may evolve to that level if we progress with the first project.
I would like you to provide a bid for placing each call which should take no longer than 5 minutes, I will then send you work from time to time and will pay you for each call made regardless of the outcome of the payment.
If a call is engaged or caller does not answer, I would like you to absorb that without charge, but if you repeat the call and manage to get through to somebody obviously you can bill for the call.
The jobs will come to you in batches every couple of months and there may be < 20 calls to make with each batch.
Let me know if this interests you, this is a really nice little role for a supplemental income and should keep you busy for a couple of evenings each month.
