Description
Experience Level: Expert
Estimated project duration: Ongoing
I have a list of around 550 companies which I've found and curated carefully on CrunchBase. I have determined that they are data providers or vendors of some sort. Keep in mind that not every company in this list will be the correct type of company for this task - they have been curated based on overview characteristics and preliminary research and it may be that some of them are not a fit entirely for this purpose and will need to be disregarded. I estimate that 80-90% of them, however, are the appropriate type of company to have the traits I'm looking for.
I will be breaking this list up into 3 sections and looking to hire 3 separate freelancers. Each freelancer will be given about 180 companies to research.
Some of them are data analytics companies that won't describe themselves as data vendors, however, part of the service they offer is access to an in-house data set (sometimes described as "3rd party data"). Others position themselves as artificial intelligence and machine learning companies that also mainly market their offering as a service to enhance someone's 1st party data however they usually also have their own internal data sets as well. Other companies will be more obvious data vendors however the details that I'm looking for won't necessarily be easy to find on their websites.
You will see geospatial companies, social media monitoring companies, business database vendors, risk analysis providers, real estate analytics services, energy and commodity reporting, etc.. The point is that they all have some data set - it may not be directly offered but it is, at a minimum, part of the product or service that they sell.
I'm looking for a diligent web researcher or virtual assistant who is willing to do what is needed to find very specific information about the data sets that these companies may have. You may try to find the information on their websites, on their blogs, on any credible resource. You may also reach out to them by contact form, website chat message, email or phone - I encourage you to do so as it may be the most effective way to find this information when it isn't listed on their website.
Please open and review the attached PDF document which contains the full scope of work, the details about the parameters to be found, suggestions for methods to find those parameters, explanations about payment and milestones and at the end of the document, a description of a bonus that can be paid if some of the work is completed by Monday, February 18.
I look forward to working with you on this project!
