Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
We are a transport and logistics company, and we are making some radical changes to the business to streamline some of our processes, so we can stop repeating certain tasks over and over again, and at the same time improve productivity.
A new addition to our business is the warehousing side, and in particular creating partnerships in other countries, where we can provide our customers with a service that allows them to consolidate their products in one place, before we can transport them to their desired destination.
We need a pricing model, where we can add in our costs, and conversion rates, to determine the price we would like to sell the service at. The formulas would need to determine costs on a per pallet basis leading to a total price, but there are some aspects of the formula where the charges are on per pallet per day basis.
The model should be clear, and needs to be editable in case we introduce new suppliers in the future, and would need to add their rates.
In the past we have had these made in Excel format, however, they get corrupted down the line, so we would be open to other suggestions, but if Excel is best, then this is fine as well.
Unlimited revisions until we are happy with the final version.
