Description
Experience Level: Entry
Estimated project duration: Not sure
This job is basically a packing from home job.
Here's how it goes as a summary:
Around 3 boxes per week will arrive (occassionally 4), and in each are 24 boxes of product. It is these smaller 24 boxes that need to be posted out ongoing.
Each of the product boxes need to packed into a cardboard box, the label stuck on, and dropped off at your local “MyHermes” shop (which is basically any shop that MyHermes pick up from – there are many in different areas, often just a local newsagent, for example).
So you would need to have a car, and live fairy near a MyHermes parcel shop. You can easily find out online where your nearest MyHermes 'parcel shop' is to see if one near you as that's important.
You need to print off the labels I send you – I send these via email – and stick the labels on the boxes.
I will send you:
printer ink
paper
celotape and parcel tape
cardboard boxes
the product boxes
So you pack the product boxes into the cardboard boxes and label them.
You then take them to your local MyHermes which deliver them to the customers.
That's basically it!
It's mainly just a load of taping boxes.
Please note: when the boxes arrive they will need to go out ASAP.
Please note: postage tracking is available so you can check if a box is arriving on a particular day or not, but it helps if you tend to be home any way.
It will be delivered by parcel force, and the time they deliver usually remains the same for each delivery, so once you know you can get a guage on what time the parcels arrive, and can check with tracking too online as said.
Paramount for me is obviously trustworthiness, and the prompt packing and sending off when the boxes of product arrive, as there are purchasers already waiting for these and I don't have much leeway on posting time as they have already been given their delivery time estimation.
I look forward to be in touch with any of you interested!
Kind regards,
Aine
The last person doing this was paid £50 per month, so I'll put it down at that monthly amount but if you want to give me an hourly rate too let me know, etc.
