Experience Level: Expert
Estimated project duration: less than 1 week
I am looking for someone to help me locate and source the most current facts and stats about technology and the digital world for a book I am writing. They need to be sourced and cover a variety of topics including communication, children, relationships, etc.
For each topic I give you I would like 5-10 stats per topic. Please reach out to me if this is off interest to you and you have relevant experience. I am looking to move rather quickly on this.
Thanks,
Jess
Example:
Topic: Children
Fact/Stat: The rate of narcism has increased 30% with the increase of technology and social platforms
Source & Context Info:
In an article titled “Egos Inflating Over Time,” psychologist Jean Twenge and her colleagues show that rate of narcissism among U.S. college students has risen significantly. Narcissism is a “positive and inflated view of the self.” Narcissists are attention-seeking extroverts who have a high opinion of their value, importance, and physical attractiveness. They feel entitled to admiration from others and may act aggressively if they don’t receive the attention they feel they deserve. Twenge and her colleagues found a 30% increase in narcissism between 1979 and 2006; almost 2/3rds of college students in the mid-2000s were above the mean score reported in the early ’80s.
