Mortgage underwriter / administrator

We are looking for a mortgage underwriter/administrator who is process-driven with an accounting/bookkeeping background. They must be motivated and able to work in a fast-paced demanding environment. The administrator must liaise with the clients, banks and solicitors in order to help get the loan approved. They will be working on requesting and reviewing documents as well as extracting data from them in order to populate mortgage applications. They will also have to underwrite the case to a similar standard to that of the bank to ensure the mortgage is approved once it has been submitted. We would like someone that is always willing to provide feedback so that we can constantly update our systems and ensure maximum efficiency. The candidate must be able to speak English well as they will be required to make calls. This is currently a part-time position but for the right candidate, we are willing to make this a full time work from home position. Ideally, we would prefer a candidate who lives within the EU due to GDPR and time reasons.

Ideal skills and experience:
- Strong understanding of mortgage underwriting and administration processes
- Proficiency in using mortgage underwriting/administration software and tools (specific software or tools preferred)
- Attention to detail and accuracy in document preparation and verification
- Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines

The expected turnaround time for this project is ongoing, as it will be a recurring job.
