We have a new business that sales cold drinks made from various flavors. For the record, I wish I had more time to work on this since it seems fun, thou I am too busy with marketing, website, etc.
I am trying to calculate the maximum number of combinations of flavors mixes possible based on the below.
A. We can exclude cup size variability, for this exercise we can assume ONE cup size.
B. Some the you have questioned about the amount of each ingredient, so the calculation is based on the EXACT SAME amount of each flavor when the flavor is used.
Example: One Drop of each Original [58 different] flavors with sugar = Combination #1
Example: One Drop of each Original [58] flavors with sugar + 1 Natural with sugar [1 of 18] = Combination # 2
Example: One Drop of only 50 of the 58 Original flavors with sugar + 1 Natural with sugar [1 of 18] = Combination # 3
C. The possible ingredient(s) used to make ONE serving is below.
1.0 Original flavors = 58 with sugar
2.0 Original flavors = 58 without sugar
3.0 Natural flavors = 18 with sugar
4.0 Natural flavors = 18 without sugar
5.0 Cream Topping can be added to any flavor combination = 1
5.1 This means Cream Topping can be added to each serving or not added
I AM ADDING THE BELOW BASED ON SOMEONE WITHIN PPH QUESTIONS
1. In each cup we have (how many?) flavor+ (without cream topping or with cream topping)
RH = one or up to a maximum of 58 Original [with or without sugar] and 18 [with or without sugar] Natural flavors per cup
RH = with cream
RH = without cream
2. Original or Natural (with sugar and without ) to be together or not together, NO limits or NO combination restrictions
RH = sugar with or without sugar
RH = all flavor types can mix together
RH = NO limits or constrictions, ALL flavors Natural and Original with or without Sugar can be mixed together, then cream topping can be added or not added
I have generated a fast calculation of a maximum number of combinations thou I am trying to cross check, etc., since I am rusty on my statistics, algebra, and limited on time.
Basically, I want to make sure the combination answer is 100% correct. I need to see the back-up or how the answer was generated, hence formula used, calculation sequence, etc.
