Help getting a refund from a car hire company

Hello

I run a charity called GrandFriends in the UK.

On the 27th January 2025 I hired a car from Car Jet on line, with the charity debit card, to use to get up to Bath from Cornwall for work because my car was out of action. I rang the Car Jet number before placing the booking to confirm the booking despite having lots of points on my license (speeding), but when I got to the collection point, which was a Europe Car office, I was told I couldn't collect it because of my points.

Since then I have tried to contact Car Jet and all the companies involved in this booking, which seem to be Keddy and Rent a car to claim a refund, but with no joy.

I have run out of time and energy but do need the money back to refund the charity.

Is there anyone who feels like getting tough and determined on my behalf please? I have all the paperwork here,
