Experience Level: Intermediate
Description of excel work: I need help debugging VBA code in Excel. The VBA macro scrapes data from a proprietary database (i.e. behind a paywall) via Internet Explorer and processes the data under Excel.
This macro was developed last year and worked fine. I need to run the macro again and the web site of the database has changed just enough to stop the macro from running. Unfortunately, the original developer has not answered my emails.
Unfortunately, the programming work needs to be done using TeamViewer. This is for two reasons.
1/ This is a proprietary database I want to scrape. Unfortunately I cannot give you the access codes, so to work you will have to go through my computer using TeamViewer, which allows you to see and control my screen.
2/ Some of the referencing for where to click in the macro is based on mouse positiong coordiantes and this macro will run on my computer.
