Experience Level: Entry
We are looking for someone with an high level of Microsoft Excel skills and experience to perform some changes on a Excel sheet holding a customer database.
This would ideally suit someone with experience of adapting an Excel sheet containing a customer database to be used for
a direct mail campaign, ie Mail Merge etc.
The original sheet contains a customer database of approx 110,000 rows in alphabetical format.
Included as an attachment a sample of the original Excel sheet and also rough sample of how we would
ike the amended Excel sheet to look.
* Remove all records of Company/Trust/Business owned shares and place in a new sheet.
(Company/Trust/Business owned shareholders have a corresponding ref no that should make them easy to find)
* Remove all records of shareholders that ARE NOT UK BASED and place in a new sheet
* Remove records if two or more have the same postcode (ie two records share the same address) and
place in a new sheet.
* Add new column to the right of the amount of shares held column and add formula to
display the amount of shares held in words.
* Remove all records where it states deceased.
* Remove all records where it states there is a joint shares.
* Remove all records where the shareholder has a record in "Main Holder Name Line 2,3,4,5"
* Remove all columns/records that have no use for assisting mailmerge (see example)
We are wanting someone to do the above and then set out the amended spreadsheet in an easy on the eye format but one
that is still suitable for use with Mail Merge in Microsoft Word.
Although there looks a lot do to, someone with experience in Excel could probably complete with ease within one hour.
Master spreadsheet will be forwarded to winning bidder.
