Description
Experience Level: Entry
I am looking for someone experienced in data handling, ZIP archives, Outlook email files (.msg), OneDrive/SharePoint exports and large Subject Access Request (SAR) disclosures.
I have received a large SAR/data disclosure from a former employer relating to an ongoing employment dispute. The disclosure contains a substantial number of files and emails and is currently difficult to review efficiently.
I need someone to:
* Download/open and successfully extract the complete ZIP/archive.
* Preserve the original files and folder structure.
* Identify and catalogue all documents and email files contained within it.
* Convert .msg/Outlook emails into a searchable/readable format where necessary, while retaining the originals.
* Preserve important email metadata including sender, recipients, date/time, subject and attachments.
* Produce a clear index/inventory of everything contained in the disclosure.
* Ideally combine/export the email correspondence into searchable PDFs or another format that can easily be reviewed and uploaded for further analysis.
* Flag any corrupted, inaccessible, password-protected or duplicate files.
* Do not delete, rename, alter or overwrite the original evidence.
This is primarily a technical data-extraction and organisation task, not a request for legal advice.
Confidentiality is extremely important because the archive contains personal employment information and correspondence. I would therefore prefer someone with experience handling confidential/legal/SAR documentation.
Please explain in your proposal your experience with large ZIP files, Microsoft Outlook .msg files, SAR/DSAR disclosures or e-discovery/document review, and how you would preserve the integrity of the original files.
Important: I want the complete extracted archive returned to me together with a searchable/indexed version so that I can independently review the contents afterwards.
