Electrical Estimator needed for ad hoc project estimating

We are seeking a remote Electrical Estimator to support our Project Management team on projects valued up to £2 million across various sectors.

The role involves assisting in the preparation of tenders, documentation, and quotation submissions, collaborating closely with Directors, Project Managers, and Business Development Managers. Your expertise will be crucial in securing profitable commercial and industrial installation and service contracts, with values ranging from £10K to £2M.

We are looking for a self-motivated, professional, and ambitious individual capable of crafting competitive tender submissions for projects of diverse scales.

Task Overview:

+ Analyze tender documents, drawings, and specifications to pinpoint essential elements.
+ Professionally engage with clients to resolve queries and address tender addendums as needed.
+ Prepare detailed material and labor cost estimates.
+ Effectively manage tender submission deadlines, including adjustments and value engineering proposals when necessary.
+ Ensure accurate and transparent cost estimations for the Director's review and final tender submission.

Requirements:
+ Background in Electrical Engineering or Contracting.
+ Excellent communication, IT, and numerical skills.
+ Proven experience as an accomplished estimator.
